BODY PARTS MURDER 2 (abstracting from the New Paper)
Connection between Hong mei and Philipino Maid Murders

1, Same birthdays: the alleged killers were born on 19 April

2, Found at two places: Jane's head and limbs were found stuffed into a blue sports bag behind Orchard MRT station; her torso was found in a black trolley bag left on a footpath leading from the main road to MacRitchie Reservoir. // Hong Mei's alleged killer had disposed of her body parts in the water. Her upper torso and lower body were found wrapped up in plastic bags in cardboard boxes on the banks of Kallang River. Her head and legs were recovered at Tuas incinerator and Hong Mei's feet were never found.

3, The number 3: Both the accused persons lived in units ending with the digit 3.

4, Chopped-up body at home: Leong Siew Chor (murderer of Hong Mei) allegedly chopped Hong Mei up in his HDB flat, while Aguilar was believed to have murdered Jane at her home in Singapore - her employer's rented apartment.

5, Worked in Serangoon: Leong worked as a supervisor at Agere Systems, a semi conductor factory, at Serangoon North Ave5, while Aguilar's employer's home was at Serangoon Ave2

6, Swift arrests: both alleged killers were arrested within 24 hours of the crime.
